We are currently experiencing problems with our telephone lines today Wednesday 15th January 2020. Please keep trying to get through.

The surgery hosted a Macmillan coffee on Friday 27th September. We raised 311.50 for Macmillan cancer support. Thank you to everybody who contributed on the 27th.

Research At South Lewisham Group Practice

IQVIA research

Modality partnership participates in medical research projects vital in helping to extend the frontiers of medical science and knowledge.

Most of the projects we work on are connected to therapeutic interventions.

We are therefore pleased to give suitable patients the opportunity to participate in relevant studies many of which involve diagnostic tests and treatments which would not otherwise be routinely available.

South Lewisham Group Practice is one of 3 practices in Lewisham that form the Lewisham Modality Division.

The practice believes in participating in clinical research for the advancement of medical knowledge and the development of new treatments for our patients and the wider community. The research can take place in many different formats ranging from having a letter sent to inviting you to take part or being invited to take part by your clinician when you are at the clinic.

However we do understand that some patients may not wish to take part in any research. If you would prefer not to be contacted then please let the reception staff know or email them on and we will update your records so that you are not contacted.

You are within your rights to change your mind on this decision at any time.
